Valley of the Sun Half Marathon Postponed until Next Year, Saturday March 6th 2010

Due the current economic climate, and a recently forced redesign of our old course this year, Race management has decided to postpone this year’s race necessarily. The Valley of the Sun Race(s) will resume next year, March 6th 2010 with the following improvements:

• The return of the Marathon distance. This will be in addition to the current Half Marathon distance, and 4 person Relay race divisions and Kids 1K.
• A new Saturday Race Day, March 6th 2010 (so mark you Calendars now)
• A new downtown course. The Start, Finish line, and Expo to be in the same location.
• A New Title Sponsor
• Elite Prize Purse
